Abstract
This Rail Standard provides guidance for the safe operation of trains and on-track equipment (OTE) in rail yards and maintenance facilities. It is applicable to heavy, light rail, streetcar, and automated people-mover systems, and provides standards for employees responsibilities for the safe movement of trains and OTE.
