Abstract
This recommended practice describes a process for a typical procurement from inception through contract closeout and warranty. The major steps in that process are:
- Identify and explore the need
- Evaluate options and establish need for procurement
- Select procurement method
- Develop final solicitation
- Execute solicitation
- Contract administration
