'Mobility: The Fabric of Our Community' 2021-2022 rabbittransit Annual Report

Target Audience: rabbittransit published its annual report in December and distributed it to government agencies, politicians, business owners, and other agency stakeholders. The report is visible on www.rabbittransit.org and was shared on social media to easily reach our ridership, taxpayers, and others in our community.

Strategy Objective:A goal of the annual report was to share our efforts of the previous year in a meaningful and comprehensible way that demonstrated the interconnectivity of the service rabbittransit provides. Public transportation connects and affects everyone in the community, whether or not they are riders. Every effort made this year built upon or was interwoven with another, creating a fabric that binds and strengthens the community.

Situation Challenge: The annual report was designed in-house by the MarComm Department. With the theme of fabric in mind, the designer produced the illustrations as a single, continuous thread on each page. The unbroken line demonstrates the goal of public transit to provide connectivity between riders and their most essential needs.

Results Impact: The annual report was well received within the community. Stakeholders and community members reached out to compliment the look of the report. The theme demonstrated how mobility is woven into the fabric of the community, providing opportunities for all residents to participate in society.

Why Submit: We feel our annual report stands out and presents our message in a way that encourages engagement. We want our audience to understand how rabbittransit serves our community, whether or not they themselves are riders, by providing others to access their jobs, healthcare, and other essential needs. Our mission surrounds mobility and how it is an essential need and we hope this annual report conveyed just how important mobility is to our organization.
