Butler Transit Authority in Pennsylvania developed its winning direct mailer to inform and remind all citizens 65 years of age and over in its service area about their eligibility for the Pennsylvania Transit Pass. The direct mailer has resulted in increased public awareness about this state-provided benefit and has also helped increase ridership.
