Campaigns

As the result of Triangle Transit Authority's SmartCommute Challenge, in just six weeks, more than 12,000 citizens took the pledge to use an alternative form of transportation. The comprehensive campaign which employed online, radio, print and other communications and marketing tactics reduced an estimated 668,000 vehicle miles, resulting in 27,800 gallons of gas saved.
