The Sacramento Regional Transit District Board of Directors announced the appointment of Michael R. Wiley as its new general manager/chief executive officer at the Feb. 25 board meeting.
Wiley has served in the position on an interim basis since October 2007, when Beverly A. Scott left to head the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. He has served RT for 30 years, most recently as deputy general manager.
