The latest in public transportation innovation will be showcased at the triennial American Public Transportation Association (APTA) EXPO 2008, which will take place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA from October 6-8, 2008.

EXPO 2008 is the largest public transportation EXPO in the world and is expected to attract more than 15,000 public transportation leaders from all over the world, as well as 800+ exhibits from manufacturers and suppliers of transit innovation covering areas such as: operations, passenger information, smart cards; alternative powered and alternative fueled vehicles, safety and security.

“Attending APTA’s EXPO 2008 is a platform for success for public transportation professionals,” said APTA President William W. Millar. “Not only will attendees learn about new products and services, but they will increase their professional network by meeting other industry experts and peers.”

“This is the place to be if you are in the public transportation industry since the private sector business community will showcase the latest in innovations,” said Millar.  “EXPO only happens once every three years, so register now to attend the industry event you can’t afford to miss.”
