This committee is dedicated to helping
member systems maintain the excellent safety record of the industry and developing
recommendations for improvements. For this purpose, there are six subcommittees:

Grade Crossing and Pedestrian Safety
Human Factors
Occupational and Environmental
Safety
System Safety Program Management
The committee also provides
technical support to the Rail Safety Review Board.
