The Bus Technical Maintenance Committee was established to improve the safety, efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness of transit bus maintenance. The scope encompasses all elements of transit buses, including new bus designs, propulsion systems, engine emissions, fuels, on-board equipment, facilities, maintenance management and training. The committee cosponsors the Bus Technical, Maintenance and Procurement Workshop.
